Week 2 went by both really really fast and really really slow. I am totally adjusted to the small portion size of the food and am losing some weight. Most of the missionaries are way cool and very patient with our lack of Spanishing. My roommates are super cool! They are Elder Correia (Cali, Colombia, 23), Elder Morales (19, Guatamala), Elder Beccerrit (Venezuela, 24), and Elder Peñafiel (18, Ecuador). They are seriously awesome and I love hanging out with them when we are done with classes. Three of the missionaries in my district are seriously soooo immature. I'm just like grow up y'all. Spanish is super hard. It is seriously killing me. We just finished what is called Basic Core which is 210 common words, 40 phrases and 4 scriptures in 10 days which sucked. Like a lot! I got all of it done except for Moroni 10:4-5. I only got verse 4. We are now studying whatever we need to vocab wise which some of the missionaries don't like but I am loving because I don't have people telling me exactly what to do and study. I have grown to love personal study from 7-8am because I can study whatever gospel topics I want. I am so tired and brain dead all of the time. I have a real hard time staying awake in the mornings. So funny story of the week. We are sitting in Sacrament meeting and during the last talk this Latin Hermana was talking so fast I literally could not understand a word she said. So I was tired and I laid my head on the bench in front of me and I started to doze off and right as I fell asleep for some reason I picked my head up like 3 inches and dropped it really hard onto the bench in front of me making this super loud noise. So the sisters on the bench next to us and Elder Argyle and I just start trying so hard not to laugh. It was seriously so funny. Presidente just glared at me from the stand, but I thought it was so funny. Everyone here is so scared of him. I'm honestly not. He is just a slightly more serious version of Dad with some weird rule quirks. Also, his wife is the nicest lady ever! Her voice sounds exactly like Aunt Lori's which is a little strange, but she is the best! The stomach problems are super real for a bunch of us here and she helps us out and is just so nice! The temple was good today. I did it in Spanish so that was a little tough, but I understood about half of it. The sad thing is it will be closed for renovations until like October so I have no idea when I will be back. That is about all I got for this week. Just lots of Spanish. Love yall tons!
This might be the last batch of pictures for awhile sorry.
